Welcome to the Mill Mountain Zoo

Mill Mountain Zoo is home to more than 175 animals including mammals, birds, reptiles and invertebrates - including 21 vulnerable species! The Zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and offers year round educational and recreational opportunities!

Hours and Prices

  • Open seven days a week from 10:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Grounds close at 5:00 p.m.
  • $7.50 for adults and $5.00 for children ages 3 to 11 years old. Children under age 2 are free and a 10% discount is available for seniors, military, and AAA members. Zoo Members get in free!

We still have openings in Zookeeper 101 and Junior Zookeeper Summer Camps, but time to register is running out! Please get those registrations in soon! Check out our events page for more details on these weeks of camp and to find the registration form.​

Breakfast with the Animals

The next Breakfast with the Animals is Feast with the Feathered on August 16th.  Join us to find out all kinds of interesting information about our avian residents!  Registrations MUST be in by August 13th!​
